Academic events scheduled for Warsaw and Poznań in 2026

Poland will host significant academic and scientific events in 2026. The 30th edition of the Science Festival in Warsaw will feature nearly 1,000 events organized by over 113 scientific, educational, and cultural institutions. Programs include workshops on food microbiology, dendrological studies of the SGGW Park, and online sessions regarding essential oils.

Additionally, the European Association for Japanese Studies (EAJS) will hold its international conference in Poznań in August 2026. This marks the first time the event has returned to Poland since 2003. The conference, hosted by Adam Mickiewicz University, will bring together hundreds of researchers from Europe, Asia, and North America to discuss Japanese culture, history, and politics.
