The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, has announced recruitment for various contractual and part-time faculty positions. Vacancies include roles in the Department of Computer Science & Technology, as well as part-time empanelment for subjects such as Music (Vocal), Law, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Economics.

Requirements for part-time faculty include a post-graduate degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks, a B.Ed. degree with 55% marks, and NET/SLET or a Ph.D. in Education or a relevant field as prescribed by the University Grants Commission.

Separately, Central Sanskrit University has released a notification for three part-time teacher vacancies in Vyakarana, Sahitya, and Political Science. The selection process involves a walk-in interview scheduled for 11 September 2026. Remuneration for these positions is set at a consolidated rate of Rs. 1,000 per period, up to a maximum of Rs. 40,000 per month.
