Academic institutions in India announce faculty recruitment

Several Indian academic institutions have announced recruitment drives for faculty positions via walk-in interviews.

Rama Devi Women’s University in Bhubaneswar is seeking Assistant Professors for the 2026-27 academic year within the Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP). Vacancies are available in History, Political Science, and Economics. Candidates must hold a post-graduate degree in the relevant social science or humanities field, a B.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks, and meet UGC or State Level Eligibility Test/Ph.D. requirements. The walk-in interview is scheduled for 12 October 2026.

Ramjas College, part of the University of Delhi, is recruiting a Guest Faculty member for the Department of Philosophy under the EWS category. The selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview on 14 October 2026. Eligibility follows UGC Regulations, 2018, and retired teachers may be considered up to the age of 70, provided they hold no other teaching assignments.
