Academic institutions mark milestones in Mexico and Argentina

The Faculty of Communication Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS) celebrated its sixth anniversary. During the event, faculty members received recognition for their long-standing service. José Carlos Aceves Tamayo, the UAS communication director, delivered a lecture regarding strategic communication planning for public institutions in the face of digital 'hate'. He emphasized the importance of distinguishing between unfounded online hostility and legitimate, data-driven criticism, noting that professionals must manage institutional relationships without suppressing freedom of expression.

In Argentina, the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino (UMSA) participated in the 10th National Encounter on Registration, Documentation, and Conservation of Contemporary Art (ENAC). Held in Buenos Aires, the event focused on the challenges posed by new technologies to the preservation of contemporary art and methodologies for treating complex materials. The encounter facilitated exchange between professionals from public and private collections, including specialists from the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Spain.
