Academic Nebojša Radunović passes away in Belgrade

Nebojša Radunović, a prominent member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU), has passed away in Belgrade at the age of 73.

Radunović was a leading expert in gynecology, obstetrics, perinatal medicine, and human reproduction. He served as the director of the Institute of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Clinical Center of Serbia from 2003 to 2009 and held various leadership roles within the Academy, including chairing the Committee for Human Reproduction.

His academic career included significant international contributions, having served as a visiting professor at New York University, Yale University, and Indiana University. He was recognized for his advancements in feto-maternal medicine, specifically in developing diagnostic procedures for detecting embryonic and fetal disorders during pregnancy.
