A study from the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador proposes a process-based management model for AVIS Bonaire. The research aims to optimize service quality in the car rental sector by addressing a limited organizational structure, a lack of standardized procedures, and gaps in digital processes during vehicle reservation, delivery, and return.

Separately, researchers at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana have designed and implemented machine learning models to predict housing prices in Guayaquil. Utilizing Random Forest and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms, the study analyzed 646 residential properties across 14 variables to improve the accuracy of property valuations and support informed decision-making in the real estate sector.
