Academic research explores management and design models in Ecuador and Peru
Various academic research projects from institutions in Ecuador and Peru address diverse organizational and management challenges.
In Ecuador, research from the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador (UIDE) includes a proposed business model for a project management consultancy targeting the mining, industrial, and construction sectors to mitigate delays and cost overruns. Other UIDE projects involve the design of a community leisure center in northern Quito to foster social cohesion and a visual identity redesign for a dance school in the Valle de los Chillos.
In Peru, studies from the Universidad Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión examine public administration. One study demonstrates that performance-based budgeting significantly impacts the quality of public spending within the Regional Government of Pasco. Another study identifies a strong positive correlation between administrative management and organizational communication within the District Municipality of Ticlacayán.
