Academic years begin at Lublin-region educational institutions

Several educational institutions in the Lublin region have officially inaugurated their new academic years.

The Lublin branch of the Lublin University of the Third Age held its opening ceremony at the Łęczna Culture Centre. Mayor Leszek Włodarski presented student IDs to 148 new students. The event was attended by local officials and members of parliament, including Krzysztof Bojarski.

In Lublin, the Wincenty Pol Academy of Applied Sciences also marked the start of the 2026/2027 academic year. The ceremony included the graduation of top students and the immatriculation of first-year students. The inaugural lecture, delivered by Professor Grażyna Ginalska, focused on the role of biotechnology in regenerative medicine.
