Academy of Merchant Navy in Syros Announces 37 New Cadets for 2026‑27

On 31 July 2026 the Greek Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy released the admission list for the Academy of Merchant Navy (Α. Ε. Ν.) in Syros. Thirty‑seven students were accepted for the 2026‑2027 academic year.

The admitted cadets must submit their enrollment documents between 3 August and 14 August 2026, either in person at the academy’s secretariat or by e‑mail. Candidates who fail to register within this ten‑working‑day window will lose their place. Any resulting vacancies will be filled once, using reserve candidates from the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports, following rules that prioritize applicants from general or vocational high schools. New entrants who meet the conditions of article 27 of the academy’s study regulations may also apply for transfer within the same deadline.
