Academy of Sciences of Albania hosts Caucasian Albania history book promotion

The Academy of Sciences of Albania, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, hosted a book promotion for “A Short History of Caucasian Albania” by historian Rizvan Huseynov on October 6, 2026.

Academic Anila Hoda noted that the publication in the Albanian language allows local scholars and readers to better understand the history and cultural heritage of Caucasian Albania, including its ancient history, traditions, art, architecture, and religious heritage. The event highlighted the importance of inter-institutional cooperation between Albania and Azerbaijan, supported by an existing memorandum of cooperation between their respective academies to facilitate research and scholar exchanges.
