Acai Kobo Shin-Koiwa to close in September 2026

Acai Kobo Shin-Koiwa, the first acai bowl specialty shop in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, has announced it will close its doors on September 30, 2026. The shop originally opened in January 2026.

According to social media announcements, the establishment will cease operations less than a year after its launch. While the shop has not yet posted physical notices at its Shin-Koiwa location, the owners indicated on Instagram that further information regarding shops opening from October onwards will be provided at a later date.
