ACAP to host 10th annual conference in Seattle

The Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP) will host its 10th annual conference in Seattle from October 1 to 4, 2026. Under the theme ‘Croatian Excellence: Celebrating the Decade, Engineering the Century’, the event aims to connect professionals, entrepreneurs, scientists, and members of the Croatian diaspora from both Croatia and the United States.

The program will cover diverse topics including artificial intelligence, new technologies, science, medicine, entrepreneurship, education, and media. A new panel titled ‘Croatian Voices, Global Reach: Media in the Digital Age’ will explore how digital media and social networks influence the global perception of Croatia and its diaspora.

Keynote speakers include Mark Russinovich, Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Azure, and Dr. Frederick R. Appelbaum from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. Other featured speakers include technology expert Hrvoje Benko and author Kristina Kuzmic. Since its founding in 2014, ACAP has grown into an international network with over 5,000 members and more than ten chapters across the US and Croatia.
