Acapulco government launches free birth registration campaign
The municipal government of Acapulco, led by Mayor Abelina López Rodríguez, has launched a campaign to provide free extemporaneous birth registrations in various communities. The initiative aims to assist residents who lack official identity documents due to various circumstances.
Rosa Coral Mendoza Falcón, head of the Civil Registry, stated that the program accepts applications for individuals aged one year and older. The campaign includes simplified requirements and on-site document issuance to prevent residents from incurring travel costs or additional expenses. The mobile service schedule includes Paso Limonero, Amatillo, and the Progreso neighborhood, operating from 9:00 to 16:00.
