Acapulco hosts major national livestock and veterinary congresses

Acapulco has hosted significant livestock and veterinary events aimed at advancing the agricultural sector in Mexico. The LXII National Cebu Cattle Exhibition drew over 9,000 attendees to the Expo Mundo Imperial, focusing on genetic improvement, animal health, reproduction, and livestock management to enhance production profitability.

Simultaneously, the XLVII National and International Congress of Buiatry concluded in the city, bringing together international researchers, veterinarians, and professionals. Alejandro Zepeda Castorena, Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Rural Development, emphasized that the knowledge gained should be applied in production units and clinics to improve animal welfare and technical assistance for families dependent on livestock activities.
