Acapulco Mayor inspects Central Market fire damage

Mayor Leticia Lozano Zavala inspected the area of the Central Market in Acapulco following a fire that damaged approximately 90 local businesses. Preliminary reports indicate that 75 shops in the footwear and sandals section and 15 in the flower section were affected.

Accompanied by military and fire department officials, the mayor assessed material damages and noted that cooling operations and debris removal are ongoing. A meeting with affected merchants was scheduled to discuss their specific situations and needs.
