Acapulco prepares for 2027 Abierto Mexicano de Tenis

Acapulco is preparing to host the Abierto Mexicano de Tenis from February 20 to 27, 2027. The event, an ATP 500 tournament, will take place at the Arena GNP Seguros and is expected to attract professional players and international fans.

Acapulco Mayor Abelina López Rodríguez has expressed her support for the tournament, citing its global reach and the significant economic activity it generates for the port. Municipal Tourism Secretary Noé Peralta Herrera highlighted the tournament's importance as a major sporting event in Latin America, noting its ability to project Acapulco to the global sporting community.
