ACB prepares for upcoming basketball season in Spain

The Spanish basketball league, Liga Endesa ACB, is conducting technical preparations for the 2026-2027 season. In Valencia, 36 top-tier referees are gathering at L'Alqueria del Básket to undergo mandatory physical tests and unify officiating criteria to ensure high competitive standards.

Meanwhile, Tarragona is set to host the Lliga Catalana ACB from September 9 to 13. The competition, held at the Palau d'Esports Catalunya, will feature elite Catalan basketball teams. This edition marks the first use of the venue's expanded seating, which now accommodates 4,210 spectators.
