ACC announces 2027 football conference opponents

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has announced the 2027 football conference opponents for its 17 member programs. This marks the second season under the league’s nine-game scheduling model, a framework designed to ensure all programs play at least 10 games annually against Power Four opponents.

Under the 2027 model, 16 teams will play nine conference games and at least one Power Four non-conference opponent. Due to the league's odd number of members, Clemson will be the sole team playing an eight-game conference slate, supplemented by at least two Power Four non-conference matchups to meet the 10-game target.

Specific team schedules were highlighted, including North Carolina, which will play five road ACC games (at Louisville, NC State, Stanford, Syracuse, and Wake Forest) and four home ACC games. Virginia Tech will host seven home games during the season. The ACC plans to release the full schedule, including specific dates and times, in late January 2027.
