ACC Football Power Rankings: Miami and Wake Forest lead after Week 8

Following the conclusion of Week 8, the ACC power rankings show significant movement among conference contenders. Miami maintains the top position after a dominant victory over Pittsburgh. Wake Forest holds the number two spot following a bye week.

Other notable shifts include SMU continuing an offensive surge, while Virginia Tech and Duke have made significant jumps into the top five. Conversely, Clemson and North Carolina have seen declines in the rankings following recent losses. Clemson’s struggles have been attributed to a lack of passing production, while North Carolina’s slide follows a controversial loss to Syracuse.
