Accademia Aeronautica and French Air Academy sign cadet exchange agreement

The Italian Accademia Aeronautica and the French Air and Space Academy have signed a technical agreement to establish the ‘Cadet’s Exchange’ program. The initiative was signed by Air Division General Davide Cipelletti, commander of the Accademia Aeronautica, and Air Brigadier General Olivier Kaladjian, commander of the French academy.

Building on the bilateral relations strengthened by the Quirinale Treaty and existing defense agreements between Italy and France, the program will launch the ‘Cadet’s Exchange 2026’. This exchange will involve one Italian cadet and one French cadet during the first semester of the second year of their Master’s Degree in Engineering.

The agreement aims to enhance the international projection of the Italian Air Force in academic and military training, investing in the technical-scientific preparation of future officers and their ability to operate in multinational environments.
