Accenture and Workday partner on agentic AI engineering program

Accenture and Workday have announced a joint forward deployed engineering (FDE) program designed to integrate agentic AI capabilities into corporate HR and finance operations. The collaboration aims to help organizations implement Workday agents more rapidly to achieve measurable business outcomes and return on investment.

Through this program, Accenture engineers will work alongside Workday’s product and technology teams to develop new agentic capabilities on the Workday platform. This creates a feedback loop between client-side transformations and product innovation.

Additionally, the partnership includes an initiative focused on “HR 2030,” which seeks to transition companies toward a growth-oriented agentic model of human resources. This includes the launch of whitepapers, advisory services, and the embedding of Galileo—an AI agent and intelligence platform acquired by Workday from Sana Labs—into the Workday platform.
