Accept releases new version of ‘Losers and Winners’ for 50th anniversary

German heavy metal band Accept has released a new version of their classic track ‘Losers and Winners’ to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The song, originally from the 1983 album ‘Balls to the Wall’, features guest appearances by Hansi Kürsch on vocals, Paul Gilbert on guitar, Chuck Garric on bass, and Tommy Aldridge on drums.

The re-recorded track is the fourth single from the upcoming anniversary album, ‘Teutonic Titans 1976-2026’, released via Napalm Records on September 4, 2026. The album includes 19 re-recorded songs from the band’s career and features a total of 50 guest musicians, including notable names such as Rob Halford, Kirk Hammett, and Phil Anselmo.

Guitarist Wolf Hoffmann noted that the collaboration with Hansi Kürsch was a natural choice due to their long-standing mutual respect. The anniversary project covers the band’s early production spanning from the 1980 album ‘I’m a Rebel’ to the 1989 release ‘Eat the Heat’.
