Access Bank Botswana Wins Euromoney Corporate Responsibility Award

Access Bank Botswana was named Botswana’s Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility at the 2026 Euromoney Awards for Excellence. The award recognizes the bank’s extensive community work, including financial‑literacy campaigns, school support projects, health initiatives, environmental clean‑up activities and a P250,000 contribution to disaster‑recovery efforts that aided roughly 10,000 people after heavy rainfall. Employees also participated in World Cleanup Day and partnered with the Botswana National Blood Transfusion Service, collecting 63 units of blood. Managing Director Sheperd Aisam said the accolade reflects the bank’s commitment to community development, financial inclusion and environmental sustainability, and underscores the broader success of the Access Bank Group at the Euromoney Awards.

The recognition highlights the bank’s ongoing strategy to combine corporate responsibility with practical action across Botswana.
