Access Organisation Group announces Watt Rally 2027

The Access Organisation Group (AOG) has announced the Watt Rally, the first touring rally designed exclusively for fully electric vehicles. Scheduled to take place from June 8 to June 17, 2027, the event will feature 100 teams participating in a nearly 3,000-kilometer journey.

The route begins in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and travels through Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, before concluding in the mountains of Hemsedal, Norway. Unlike traditional time-based motorsport, this rally focuses on long-distance endurance, testing battery management, range capabilities, and intelligent charging strategies.

Participants will include various vehicle models from established manufacturers and newcomers, such as Volkswagen, Skoda, Renault, BYD, and XPENG. The event aims to combine electric mobility with adventure and tourism, offering challenges designed to foster a sense of community among participants.
