Accidents in Paraguay and Mexico cause local disruptions

In Fernando de la Mora, Paraguay, a large container fell during a discharge maneuver on Monday afternoon, striking an electricity pole owned by the Administración Nacional de Electricidad (ANDE). The accident occurred near an electromechanical company when a forklift base failed under the weight, causing the container to tip and hit the infrastructure. The impact resulted in an explosion and downed cables, causing a power outage in the surrounding neighborhood. No injuries were reported.

In Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, a delivery truck carrying chickens overturned on Municipio Libre Avenue on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred after a Nissan vehicle lost control and struck the side of the delivery unit, causing it to flip onto its right side. While the cargo was scattered, workers attempted to recover the poultry from the vehicle. Road assistance was deployed to clear the scene.
