Acciona Energía and GRS to Build 235 MW Fleming Solar Farm in Kentucky, USA

GRS, the EPC solar contractor of Grupo Gransolar, has signed an agreement with Acciona Energía to construct the Fleming Solar Farm in Kentucky, United States. The project will have a capacity of 235 MW and is expected to create around 300 jobs in the region.

The farm will be one of the largest photovoltaic installations in Kentucky and a key milestone for GRS, which now has a portfolio of about 5 GW. GRS Engineering will handle engineering work, while PV Hardware will install AxoneDuo Infinity solar trackers. The development is described by GRS Operations Director Adolfo Ruiz as a strategic re‑activation of the company’s presence in the U.S. solar market.
