Acciona Energía shares jump over 3% as global funds signal buying interest
Acciona Energía's shares rose 3.13% on the Ibex 35, closing at €21.72, after market sources reported that a group of international investment funds—including Brookfield, KKR, EQT, GIP (BlackRock’s infrastructure platform), Ardian and Qualitas Energy—have shown interest in acquiring part or all of the renewable‑energy subsidiary. The company declined to comment.
President José Manuel Entrecanales previously said a full sale of the subsidiary is highly unlikely. Earlier speculation on 19 June about Arab and U.S. investors had briefly lifted the stock by 5% to €23.9, while the share price’s all‑time high of €43.5 was reached in August 2022.
