Accor expands hospitality footprint in Croatia and Poland
Accor Group has expanded its presence in Central and Eastern Europe through new hotel openings and strategic growth plans. In Croatia, the group launched the Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Kvarner Bay in Novi Vinodolski. This marks the brand’s debut on the Croatian Adriatic coast and includes 304 residences, wellness facilities, and dining options designed for year-round operation.
In Poland, Accor is pursuing significant expansion, planning dozens of new properties across major cities, coastal areas, and mountain regions. The group aims to open approximately 40 properties across Central and Eastern Europe over the next two years. Key upcoming projects in Poland include the development of the Mövenpick brand in Świnoujście and Poznań, as well as the launch of the first Swissôtel in Gdynia by early 2028. The company also plans to introduce the ibis Styles brand to the Tricity area with a new location in Gdańsk.
