Accor launches Tribe brand hotel in Auckland

Accor has launched its Tribe brand in New Zealand with the opening of a 60-room hotel on Fort Street in Auckland’s Central Business District. The seven-storey property, which opened in October 2025, marks the brand's debut in the country.

Designed for tech-savvy travelers, the Tribe brand focuses on functional, design-driven spaces without unnecessary amenities. The hotel features five room categories, ranging from 15-square-metre Essentials rooms to 25-square-metre suites. Rooms include queen beds, Nespresso machines, bar fridges, and smart TVs, but omit items such as bathrobes or mini-bars.

The property includes Sienna, a ground-floor all-day eatery and lounge characterized by an industrial aesthetic with light woods and stone. The hotel's design incorporates vibrant decor, including bright blue walls and geometric carpets.
