Accor to debut Sofitel brand in Ahmedabad with new luxury hotel

Accor has announced the signing of the Sofitel Ahmedabad Palladium Mall Road, marking the debut of the Sofitel Hotels & Resorts brand in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Developed by Fanidhar Infra & Hospitality, the 250-key hotel is scheduled to open in 2030.

Located in the Thaltej area, the property is designed to blend French lifestyle with local culture. The hotel will feature five food and beverage outlets, approximately 2,550 square metres of banquet and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) space, a kids’ club, and various wellness and leisure facilities.

The project aims to serve corporate and leisure travelers, as well as social events such as weddings. Accor executives noted that Ahmedabad is an increasingly important destination due to its growing business ecosystem, industrial growth, and proximity to GIFT City.
