Accountant Nora Villarroya faces questioning in DEJDE SRL fraud case

Accountant Nora Isabel Villarroya is facing questioning in an investigation regarding an alleged multi-million peso fraud against the agricultural company DEJDE SRL in Clodomira, Argentina.

The investigation follows a complaint by company partners, including Ángela Sánchez, who allege that Villarroya misused her administrative powers. The accusations include the unauthorized sale of properties and the acquisition of loans that exceeded her legal authority.

Villarroya, who surrendered to authorities in August, has denied the irregularities. She maintains that all operations were conducted within her professional duties and were intended to settle company debts. A court has upheld her detention as the investigation continues.
