Accra Police investigate fatal stabbing of businessman Enoch Abrokwa

The Tesano Divisional Police Command is investigating the death of 33-year-old businessman Enoch Abrokwa, who died following an alleged stabbing at his business premises in Ofankor Barrier, Accra.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a disagreement between Abrokwa and his 19-year-old girlfriend, Emmanuella Asante, escalated into a violent confrontation on October 9, 2026. Asante allegedly attacked Abrokwa with a piece of broken glass, causing a deep chest wound that affected his intestines. After receiving emergency care at Taifa-Burkina and subsequent surgery at Ridge Hospital, Abrokwa succumbed to his injuries on October 14.

Asante was arrested on October 10 after being brought to the police by a complainant and three other individuals. She reportedly admitted to the stabbing during interrogation and has been remanded in police custody. She is scheduled to reappear in court on November 3, 2026, as investigations continue.
