Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve to feature series' longest campaign

Kazutoki Kono, the brand director for Ace Combat, has revealed that the upcoming title, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, will feature the longest campaign in the series' history.

While the game follows a linear narrative rather than the branching paths seen in Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, Kono clarified that the scale of the campaign refers to the total experience. This includes a high volume of missions, extensive presentation, and cinematic cutscenes.

Developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game is scheduled for release on October 2, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Deluxe Edition players will receive early access starting September 29.
