Acea and Politecnico di Milano partner for energy and water research

Acea and Politecnico di Milano have signed a three-year framework agreement to promote joint activities in training, research, and innovation. The partnership focuses on the energy, water systems, and circular economy sectors to support the sustainable transition.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by leveraging complementary expertise. Key areas of strategic cooperation include the development of research projects in water and energy systems, the funding of PhD programs, and initiatives to support talent through the Politecnico di Milano Career Service.

Acea will provide industrial experience in energy production, distribution, and management, as well as integrated water services and environmental services. The agreement is intended to facilitate technology transfer and prepare professionals to address challenges in digital transformation and sustainability.
