Acea launches national water education and sustainability tour
Acea has launched the national tour of the Acea Acqua Edu Camp, an educational initiative designed to raise awareness among younger generations regarding water resources, sustainability, and climate change. The tour combines theoretical learning with experiential activities, including sailing, nautical games, and practical exercises.
The tour recently held a stop at the Porto Turistico di Roma in Ostia, involving students from the Nostra Signora di Betlemme school. The program is part of the broader Acea Scuola Educazione Idrica project, which has reached over 30,000 students through digital platforms and plant visits across Italy.
In addition to the traveling camps, the initiative includes a national contest titled ‘Gocce di innovazione. L’uso dell’acqua nella tua casa del futuro’, where students create short films exploring innovative technologies for water saving, reuse, and recycling in domestic environments.
