Aceesca and Fundación Celta launch inclusive football school

The Aceesca Association and the Fundación Celta de Vigo have launched the new Escuela Celta Integra Zelnova in O Porriño. This initiative uses football to promote social inclusion, health, and personal autonomy for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Developed through a collaboration between Fundación Celta and the IN-RED Disability Business Association, the project also commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Celta Integra program. For the 2026-2027 cycle, 18 participants aged 15 to 53 will attend weekly training sessions at the Campo Municipal do Lourambal, led by technical staff from Fundación Celta.

The program aims to eliminate social barriers and transform perceptions of disability by emphasizing the rights and capabilities of participants to engage actively in their communities.
