Aceh Government receives award for education access

The Aceh Government has received the 2026 Batch II Regional Sumatra Outstanding Local Government Award in the category of Resident Access to Education Services. The award was accepted by Aceh Regional Secretary M Nasir Syamaun on behalf of Governor Muzakir Manaf during a ceremony in Batam, Riau Islands.

Syamaun stated that the recognition serves as motivation to continue improving the quality and accessibility of public services, particularly in education, which is viewed as a vital component of human resource development in Aceh. The government intends to strengthen educational policies through increased synergy with district and city governments.
