Acer celebrates 50th anniversary with technology and running event in Ho Chi Minh City

Acer celebrated its 50th anniversary by hosting Acer Day 2026 at THISO Mall Sala in Ho Chi Minh City. Under the theme ‘Shift The Game’, the annual event integrated technology experiences with community sports.

A central highlight of the event was the Acer Fun Run, a 5km race held on August 16, 2026, which drew approximately 2,000 participants. The inclusion of a running event marks a shift from previous years that focused solely on product displays, aiming to promote an active lifestyle alongside technological engagement.

In addition to the race, the event featured specialized zones for hands-on interaction. The Gaming Zone showcased high-performance devices from the Predator and Nitro lines, while the Lifestyle Zone focused on products for study, work, and daily entertainment. The event included interactive challenges, prize draws, and a total prize pool valued at 100 million VND.
