Acer launches Predator Atlas 8 handheld; Lenovo discounts Legion 15 laptop with RTX 5070

Acer announced the Predator Atlas 8, a portable Windows 11 gaming console that uses Intel Arc G‑Series hardware, including an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor paired with an Arc B390 graphics chip capable of ray tracing and XeSS 3 upscaling. The device features an 8‑inch 120 Hz touchscreen, an 80 Wh battery, and a novel AeroBlade Vortex Flow metal fan system for improved thermal management. It is slated for a European release in October.

Lenovo released a price‑reduced version of its Legion 15 laptop, now offered at €1,599 instead of the original €1,999. The machine is equipped with a 15‑inch OLED panel (2560 × 1600) running at 165 Hz, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX CPU, 32 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB NVMe SSD. It includes a full suite of ports (USB‑C, USB‑3.2, HDMI 2.1, RJ45, USB‑4) and promises 4–5 hours of battery life with fast‑charge capability (100 % in 80 minutes).
