Acer Predator Atlas 8 Gaming Handheld Announced for October 2026 Release

Acer unveiled the Predator Atlas 8, a Windows‑based handheld PC aimed at premium mobile gamers. The device is powered by Intel’s new Arc G‑Series, offering configurations up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor with Intel Arc B390 graphics and support for XeSS 3 AI upscaling. It features an 8‑inch WUXGA (1920 × 1200) 120 Hz touchscreen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, up to 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD, and an 80 Wh battery. Cooling is handled by a dual‑fan Predator AeroBlade system with 89 ultra‑thin blades.

The handheld was demonstrated at Computex 2026, where it ran Forza Horizon 6 smoothly at high settings with ray tracing enabled. Acer said the Predator Atlas 8 will be available in North America, EMEA and Australia starting in October 2026, though pricing has not yet been disclosed.
