Packard Bell relaunches with new identity at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026, Acer Group has officially relaunched the historic Packard Bell brand to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The brand is returning with a new visual identity centered on a 'dot' motif and a lifestyle-oriented philosophy dubbed ‘Tech It Easy’. This strategy aims to provide accessible, user-friendly technology for everyday tasks such as studying and working.

The new product lineup features a variety of colorful, budget-friendly devices, including the DotBook 14, a 14.5-inch laptop expected to hit European markets in late 2026. Other announced products include the DotLoop (a portable turntable), DotTune speakers, DotLine feature phones, and DotLook smart glasses. The brand is shifting away from technical jargon toward a warmer, more human-centric communication style.

In addition to the brand relaunch, Acer is celebrating its own 50th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of Acer Day. In the Philippines, these milestones were marked by a large-scale anniversary concert at the Araneta Coliseum featuring the P-pop group SB19.
