Acer Swift Go 16 AI features local NPU for privacy

Acer has introduced the Swift Go 16 AI, a Copilot+ PC designed to handle artificial intelligence tasks locally. The laptop features a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 47 TOPS, which aims to enhance data privacy and processing speed by reducing reliance on external datacenters.

The device includes a 16-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. Despite its large screen, the notebook maintains a portable weight between 1.52 kg and 1.60 kg. It is integrated with Windows 11 features such as real-time translation and audio/text content synthesis.
