Acer unveils AI‑enabled TravelMate business laptops with sub‑1 kg P6 model

Acer announced a refreshed TravelMate business laptop line comprising four models: the TravelMate P6 14 AI, TravelMate P2 Spin 14, TravelMate X2 15 and TravelMate X2 14. All devices feature dedicated NPU‑based AI acceleration and are powered by the latest Intel processors – the P6 uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips with vPro support, while the other three adopt Intel Core Series 3 silicon.

The flagship P6 14 AI is marketed as a sub‑1 kg portable notebook in its lightest OLED configuration, offering up to 150 TOPS of AI performance, Wi‑Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4, a 71 Wh battery claimed to last up to 30 hours and fast charging. It includes enterprise‑grade security such as Secured‑core certification, ProShield Plus encryption, an optional chassis intrusion sensor and a physical camera shutter. The P2 Spin 14 is a 2‑in‑1 convertible with a touchscreen, Wacom stylus support and AI‑assisted video tools; the X2 models target conventional office use with optional numeric keypad and varied display options. Acer also introduced software features like Display Lens, PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice to enhance meeting productivity.
