Acer and GEEKOM unveil new hardware at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, major hardware manufacturers Acer and GEEKOM unveiled a wide array of new consumer electronics focusing on artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and specialized displays.
Acer introduced several new product lines, including the Predator ES Thunder Pro e-scooter, which features a 500W motor and a 70km range. The company also expanded its display offerings with an ePaper monitor (EP130K) designed for eye comfort, a triple-screen extender (PD163Q P3), and a 1000Hz Full HD gaming monitor (Predator XB253Q U1) aimed at esports professionals. Additionally, Acer debuted new Iconia tablets, portable AI-powered projectors, and 5G connectivity solutions.
GEEKOM showcased a focus on local AI processing with its Agent 4N cluster. This architecture connects four GEEKOM A9 Mega Mini PCs via USB4 to create a distributed computing system with 512GB of total RAM. The cluster utilizes AMD Ryzen AI Max+ processors to enable the execution of large language models locally, reducing reliance on cloud services.
