Acerbi and Darmian remain without clubs after Inter departure

Former Inter Milan defenders Francesco Acerbi and Matteo Darmian remain without clubs following the expiration of their contracts in June. Despite interest from various teams during the summer transfer window, no concrete agreements have been reached.

Acerbi was reportedly linked to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, as well as several Italian sides including Genoa, Monza, Torino, Sassuolo, Bologna, and his former club Lazio. Darmian, a veteran with over 600 career appearances, was linked to Roma, but negotiations did not result in a contract. Additionally, Mattia De Sciglio remains a free agent as he seeks a new professional destination.
