ACFC advances to Coupe de France 7th round after penalty shootout

ACFC secured qualification for the 7th round of the Coupe de France following a dramatic penalty shootout against Mérignac. After a scoreless first half, Rosine scored for ACFC in the 70th minute, but the match shifted after Elissalt was sent off. Fichten equalized for Mérignac in the 79th minute, and Dasquet scored a last-second equalizer in stoppage time to make it 1-1.

ACFC ultimately won the penalty shootout to advance. The victory comes at a cost for the team, as the captain Elissalt faces suspensions for upcoming National 1 matches against Saint-Brieuc and Saint-Malo.
