Achaia to host Wine Routes 2026 vintage car tour

The Association of Historical Vehicles of Western Greece (S.I.O.D.E.) will organize the “Wine Routes 2026” on Sunday, November 8, 2026, to celebrate World Wine Tourism Day. The event aims to connect automotive history with the viticulture, gastronomy, and cultural heritage of the Achaia region.

The tour features three primary stops: the historic Achaia Clauss winery in Patras, founded in 1861, where participants will learn about the Mavrodaphne Patras tradition; the Tetramyphos winery in Ano Diakopto, located on the slopes of Mount Chelmos; and the Petrinos Mylos in Sella, which will serve as the final destination for dining and relaxation.

This initiative is designed to promote wine tourism and the cultural assets of Western Greece by using historical vehicles as a medium to showcase the region's landscape and winemaking traditions.
