Acharya Pramod Krishnam reports death threats from Babbar Khalsa

Spiritual leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam has reported receiving death threats from the Khalistani group Babbar Khalsa. Speaking in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, Krishnam stated that the threats arrived via international calls and an audio message received on September 24.

Krishnam identified the sender of the audio message as Kulvir Singh Sidhu, whom he claims is associated with the terrorist organization. The message allegedly threatened to kill the spiritual leader using bombs, firearms, and rocket launchers within four days. Krishnam attributed the threats to his public opposition to Khalistan-related activities and his work on the construction of the Kalki Dham religious complex.

Krishnam has brought the matter to the attention of the Uttar Pradesh Police and the Union Home Ministry. He expressed his intention to continue his religious work despite the threats. Sambhal Superintendent of Police Vikas Chandra Tripathi confirmed that a formal complaint has been filed and an investigation is currently underway.
