Achilleas Beos criticizes referee appointment for Volos match

Achilleas Beos, the Mayor of Volos, has criticized the Central Refereeing Committee (KED) following the appointment of referee Tasos Papapetrou for the upcoming Stoiximan Super League match between Levadiakos and NPS Volos.

Beos questioned the pattern of these appointments, noting that Papapetrou has been assigned to nearly all matches between these two specific teams in recent years. He described the refereeing selection process as a ‘magic world’ where nothing is accidental, specifically targeting KED head Stefán Lanouá.

Beos stated that if the referee does not perform his duties successfully and remains unnoticed, the responsibility will lie solely with Lanouá. The match is scheduled to take place on October 17 at the Lambros Katsonis Municipal Stadium in Livadeia.
