Achilleas Beos, the Mayor of Volos, is mourning the sudden death of his sister, Vasos. The 65-year-old woman passed away on Monday, August 31, after suffering a cardiac arrest while swimming at a beach in Attica.

Despite immediate mobilization and efforts to provide medical assistance, she could not be resuscitated. The loss has deeply affected the Mayor, who shared a close bond with his sister.
